Hello friends in Christ! It’s no April Fools’ Day joke- my next open-to-the-public talk will be on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the church at Mary, Queen of Peace in Mandeville, LA. I am very humbled to be invited back to speak at Mary, Queen of Peace by parishioner request. God is up to something good, as always!
The topic will be “3 Pillars to Sustain You Through Anything.” This is a different talk than the one I gave at MQP in November. I’ll share a little bit of my story, then I’ll speak about the 3 main things that are sustaining me through all of this suffering and how they can sustain you through anything, no matter the situation!
I’ll also be sharing how these 3 pillars apply to any difficult-to-follow Church teaching! We all have at least one Church teaching that challenges us greatly or seems unreasonable to us, right? These pillars allow us to see those in a new light, and they give us a way to live out what would otherwise seem impossible.
This talk will also include a segment on Jesus’ examples of surrender in the garden and in His Passion, and I will share the parallel of how we can imitate Jesus’ actions in our lives today- a great Lenten reflection!
This talk will include very practical ways to live out our faith in today’s world- there is something in it for everyone! Hope to see many of you there! Please share with friends. God bless!
