Upcoming Talk in Mandeville

Hi brothers and sisters in Christ! Northshore Louisiana, I’m coming for you again! It’s an honor to be invited back to Mary, Queen of Peace in Mandeville. I’ll be speaking on “Freedom of Spirit: Experiencing Joy and Gratitude.” This is open to everyone. I gave this talk at St. Angela Merici over the summer, and it is definitely one of my favorites, so I’m very excited to give it a second time! Join us November 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the parish center at Mary, Queen of Peace in Mandeville, LA.

Who couldn’t use more joy and gratitude in their lives?! Have you ever felt stuck, or have you ever wanted to experience deeper joy and gratitude? I’ll be talking about the desire for freedom in all human hearts, what the Church teaches us about freedom, what prevents us from having interior freedom, and how embracing the Church’s definition of freedom leads to experiencing greater joy and gratitude in life, independent of life circumstances.

I will expound on 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus” as we lead up to Thanksgiving! There’s something for everyone in this talk. Hope to see you there!

  1. Soooooo looking forward to hearing your talk and I will promote it for others to attend!! It’s such a small world /I learned my son’s godmother- Sheri Salvagio taught you!! Praise God my son is now a Captain in the Marines, so we had a promotion to Captain Shreve! Exciting times ahead for he and his wife who is at the military med school in Bethesda, MD!
