For years St. Paul's words about rejoicing in suffering confused and bothered me, but recently the Holy Spirit enlightened me in a way that I can connect with St. Paul's words in my own life.
We are called to give thanks both for the blessings we can see and for God's glory in the ways we cannot see it. God is bigger than what we can understand , and His glory and love for us are not dependent on circumstances.
