Hello subscribers! I’m happy to share that I will be one of the guest speakers for St. Angela Merici’s Summer Series. I spoke for the Summer Series last year, and I’m thrilled to do it again, on a new topic. My talk will be on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Holy Family Hall (on Melody, across from the church), and it’s open to all.
I’m very excited to speak on the topic of “Freedom of Spirit: Experiencing Joy and Gratitude!” Freedom is something we all value, but how do we achieve interior freedom in today’s world, and how do we experience more joy and gratitude? I think it’s safe to say that we all want an abundance of joy- no one has “too much” joy. And I think we all want to experience more gratitude, because that’s when our hearts are full. But I think most of us, if you’re like me, can find ourselves in situations where we know we should be more grateful and want to be more grateful, but we aren’t able to connect to that emotionally and experience that gratitude well. What gives, and what can we do to experience the joy that God wants each of us to have? Join us on June 16 as I unpack this!
I’ve been speaking on the topic of freedom for many confirmation classes and retreats, and that has quickly become the most well-received topic I’ve done with teens. I’m excited to get to present on the topic of freedom in a similar yet different (and deeper) way for adults, so I hope to see you there on June 16! It will be an uplifting evening! Thank you for your prayers, and make sure to check out the other speakers in the Summer Series at St. Angela Merici on Tuesday nights in June and July.

I plan
For some reason I can’t see your name, and the only part of your comment that appeared is “I plan.” Please reply with the rest of your comment and your name- I’m not sure what’s going on with this. It sounds like you’re planning to come to the talk though, so I’m very happy you’ll be there! 😊
